Issues – Jealousy and Trust

We all have issues, we’re only human. It comes with the territory, and is a part of life. It’s how we deal with it that will dictate the outcome of a relationship in peril. Jealousy and lack of trust are emotions felt by both male and female alike. It doesn’t choose sides. We all have experienced jealousy at some point in our life. I believe there are different degrees of jealousy. A guy can be jealous of another guy, his salary, his car, his girlfriend. A girl can make a guy jealous. I do not know of one man who hasn’t found himself in a position where the girl he was with, didn’t try to make him jealous. Girls are sly creatures. To make a guy jealous, all she has to do is be flirty when with him

 

The guy feels the jealousy, and usually confronts her regarding it. She does it for effect, trying carefully to maneuver the guy into admitting it. But guys can become jealous when their girlfriend just wants to hang with the girls, and he isn’t invited. As simple as that!

Trust, however, is not something so easily dismissed. It strikes a major nerve in all of us. Trust issues cut deep and once it has manifested itself in your psyche, nothing short of a frontal lobotomy will ease the obsessive doubt. Explanations can be provided, but once that hurt has occurred, it will take a very long time for the emotional wound to heal, if ever. You can forgive but you can’t forget, nor should you!
