Love it. And it can span entire lifetimes and never goes out of style. Public displays of affection (known as PDA’s) can occur at any age in life. Young love PDA’s are usually more expressive than their older counterparts. While there is nothing wrong with public kissing (tongue included), young love PDA’s come close to bordering on being sexually suggestive.
As the relationship grows over time, and age along with it, the display is less pronounced, though still quite strong. The kisses are more subdued (less tongue!), the holding of hands ever present. Now have you ever seen an old couple walking along, holding hands, that hasn’t made you smile? It is an expression of love expressed. Probably, the only people against it are the ones not engaged in it !

You know it is interesting. I was always someone who loved PDA’s. But then my brother and his wife just kinda took it to the en’th degree. They would spontaneously make out in front of whoever, whenever. We were adults. It was…. well..uh.. interesting. Finally I had to say “Get a damn room already!”.
I think knowing when it is appropriate is a big thing. Who cares if it is in front of strangers… you are never going to see them again are you.
OH! An idea for a post! Thank you!
